This year we have treated ourselves with a really nice holiday... we went to Egypt · Red Sea, and it was all about relaxing, swimming, reading good books, snorkeling, eating in good restaurants, watching sunsets, riding camels, diving and a lot of tanning...! 
Now it's back to work until Christmas but believe me, we came home with fully recharged batteries!

A relaxing break....

I know last time I posted here I said I'd be back in a week time... well, the week became a month and I'm finally back from a little break, it started with a weekend in Brittany after which I came back to work for a week but after that I spent quite some time in Paris and went for a little journey to the Isle of Rhé... it was lovely... here are some pictures... enjoy! :)

sneak peak!

I know I have been neglecting you lately... But as a little forgiveness gift, I have a sneak peak for you on something very exciting I'm working on right now.... I just can't show you more, nor tell anything about it yet... but you can guess, if you'd like to! :)

This afternoon I'm leaving for a well deserved break! The destination is kept secret because it's a surprise for my other half... but you'll know more about it next week!

Just like these patterns, I'm all about Christmas already... the streets are already full of Christmas lights and decorations, I'm thinking of the presents I will give this year, the cards, gift tags, wrapping papers I'd like to make... let's hope there is enough time for everything!!

glimpses of holiday...

It's been 3 days that I'm back in Paris but I still can imagine the sound & smell of the sea and all the bright colors that made my holiday unique and amazingly relaxing! It was all about laying on the beach, getting tanned and having no internet, no cell phone and nearly no shoes at all! hhhhmmmm... great! 

Now to another very exciting news: I am moving to Lecce, Italy for 8 months!... wow, I still can hardly believe it myself... I'm going with my boyfriend who will be working there... we only got the news 2 weeks ago so everything is kind of hectic right now, getting everything ready, packing, trying not to forget anything...! we're leaving at the end of this week and then we will have to settle down there... so I might not be able to write around here for several days... 

... but until I'm back blogging again, I will leave you to my holiday's pictures, enjoy! :)

my holiday...

Today is a good day to tell you where I will be going on holiday this year... it will be......... Tunisia!!!!! :) I'm leaving next week for a week of rest, swimming, sunbathing, having cocktails and everything fun and relaxing you can think of... :)

time for a little holiday again!

After 4 very busy days (with a lot of non-fun stuff to do...) it's time for a little holiday again! We have another 3 days weekend here in France and I'm leaving for Germany tomorrow first thing in the morning! I bet I'd get the double of work done if each week was only 4 days long and rewarded with a 3 days weekend!!! Anyway, sun is shining and I'm longing for summer... I think this illustration would make a nice card to send during summer holidays...

inspiration: our room in Brugge...

It's been 3 days we're back in France now but my head is still a bit on holiday in Belgium... Here are some pictures of our wonderful room in Brugge, I loved the decoration and it felt very inspiring and relaxing to be living there for 3 days! The design below was inspired by the room's environement though I changed the colors a bit and added the little fellows to it :)

3 days in Brugge...

You guessed it, the surprise-city was Brugge in Belgium (also known as North-Europe's Venice)...! Every single thing in these 3 wonderful days was perfect! The city, the mood, the weather (almost!), the room we stayed in (I looooved the decoration -will post about it later...), the food (restaurants and breakfast brought to our room by our wonderful hosts), the chocolate, the walks, the boat-tour, the parks, the baby ducks in the parks, even the 3-hour car ride to get there... you heard (read) me: every single thing! It was the perfect - needed - relaxing week-end and I'm so thankful for Yann's -my boyfriend- organization! I could just walk around the city and enjoy 3 days without computer, internet and phone calls! What a luxury!

Now I'm back for 4 intensive work days before another 3 days trip (to my grandmother's house in Germany) and I can't wait! Funny how holidays are addictive! :)
